Greenwood police used littering citations to arrest a man.
I
read the news from Fox 59 that the police from Greenwood used a littering
citation to arrest a man wanted for murder in Indianapolis. It’s really cool
that a good instinct by the police officer led to the arrest of this man. Due
to the disturbance, the Greenwood police were called to White Glove Towing
along US 31. At the scene, the police officer noticed a man acting
suspiciously. The man is Christopher Rawlings, who failed to provide his
correct identity to the police officer. He was also not looking and avoided the
police at all. The suspect threw a cigarette on the ground, and the officer
said it was littering. He was arrested and given a chance to identify
himself. Read more.
